This site is clever in its use of illustrations. They start them on the homepage including the frame around the main image and continue them on landing pages.
They have a nice band across the bottom of the homepage that makes a nice footer.

Nice 2 column landing pages. They have a colored box with text to distinguish their academics. The links are have a nice simple header. The navigation is on the left with items of interest below them (like key dates and link for help)
